Anna Grimm

M.S., LMFT-Associate

Anna joins the Family Table Counseling Team as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate after completing her clinical internship under the supervision of Dr. Nicole Vargas. Before entering the mental health field, Anna spent nearly a decade as a teacher, where her work with children and families deepened her passion for supporting emotional well-being and healthy relationships. Her experience with children have influenced her passion for working with children and teens.

Anna works with families, individuals, and couples, too, however. She often draws from a narrative therapy approach, exploring the stories that shape our experiences—both the struggles and the strengths. Anna enjoys doing identity work and also works from a strength-based perspective, emphasizing the distinction between a person’s identity and the problems they face, helping clients re-author their lives in meaningful ways.

Anna brings a spirit of curiosity and compassion into the therapy room. Anna believes in the power of safe, affirming relationships to create lasting change—and she considers it a privilege to support her clients on their path toward healing and wholeness.

In her spare time, Anna can be found doing anything creative, from painting and singing to writing and embroidery! She always tries to take advantage of good weather outside with her husband and dogs, but is also equally a huge fan of Aaron Sorkin shows and board games!
